My mother, Martha B. Sims, was called home Wednesday, September 16th, just before 2 in the morning. She left this earth on angel’s wings and was met by her Lord and Savior. Her faith became truth during the darkest hours of my life. As I grieve the loss of my mother, I rejoice in the completion of her journey. The Cancer Warriors offered her support, love, prayers & many uplifing notes of encouragement during the last months of her struggle. She was truly touched by all of this. As my family’s way of saying thank you, we asked that memorials be made to this organization. You never know where this will lead but our prayers are that the donations will be many in memory of our loved one and that a precedent will be set for others to follow. May God bless your work!
